Alternative Taxidermy is the product of a botched "real" taxidermy project. I started the incredibly difficult art of "real taxidermy" many years ago. I harvested a nice buck, tanned the hide and then all the hair came off....Long story short, I wanted to salvage my project and decided to use an abstract fabric to finish it off. Little did I know, this project would get more positive feedback than any other "real" taxidermy project I had finished.
